We are dedicated to teaching and improving your surfing. We offer lessons year round and our goal is to get you up and riding a wave with the knowledge of ocean awareness and the rules of surfing. We also offer lessons to the surfer who would like to improve their surfing. Most importantly we want you to understand surfing while having FUN!!!

Winter has set in? I think old man winter took off this yearIt doesn't really seem like winter at all it we've had temps in the 70's and 80's almost every day, and awesome surf. In fact Surfline named California the best bet for great surf in January, that's saying something to California's surf because they can pick any spot on this planet. You might think Indo, or Hawaii, or even Costa Rica....nope right here in California. San Clemente really benefits from winter surf coming down from the North Pacific NPAC, because we won't get giant waves like up in Central Cal or even LA county, San Clemente has Point Conception and Catalina Island to thank for the right mix of NPAC energy to be let in to our pristine, uncrowded beaches that + nice weather+new sandbars+uncrowded waves= a great time to learn to surf with one of our experienced instructors. So come grab a session with SCSS whether you are brand new to surfing or just want to paddle out with an instructor and brush up on your skills, we can help. We also offer a guide service for experienced surfers who travel down to this area and want to be taken to the best surf of the day from our local experts.
